We counsel and support refugees in the area of Bielefeld since 2006. Our non-profit association is financed by donations and public funds. Most importantly, however, it subsists on the commitment of numerous volunteers.

Due to the current situation we have limited opening hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 10-12 a.m. and 3-5 p.m. and Tuesday 3-5 p.m.
There is no open consultation hours!
For appointments please contact us via phone or email beforehand.
The phone in the main office 0521 - 54 65 15 0 is being answered at the following times: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9-12 a.m. and 3-5 p.m. and Tuesday 3-5 p.m.

21.07.2018: Invitation to the AK Asyl summer picnic

AK Asyl Bielefeld invites refugees, friends and supporters for the annual picnic at Nordpark on Saturday, 04. August 2018, starting from 14 o'clock.

02.02.2017: Women in Exile Bielefeld organized demo

The group "Women in Exile Bielefeld" calls for a demonstration against the inhuman asylum and deportation policy for Saturday, February 11, 2017. We start at 12 o'clock at the Bielefeld Central Station. We would like to publish the call:

22.11.2016: Invitation: 10th anniversary party

AK Asyl Bielefeld exists this year since 10 years. To mark the anniversary, among other things, a party is organized. Celebration will take place on Saturday, 3 December 2016, 6 pm at the GAB-Kulturpunkt (Kavalleriestraße 26). All refugees, supporters and friends are invited.

11.11.2016: WenDo: Empowerment and self-defense for girls and women

In cooperation with the BellZett, AK Asyl Bielefeld offers a WenDo course for refugee girls and women on 20 December 2016.

16.09.2015: Protest because of firebombing against refugees

Protest today (16th September 2015) evening, 7 pm - Kesselbrink Bielefeld (the protest is registered/"legalized"). On Monday a fire attack against a refugee camp in Porta Westfalica took place. 37 persons were inside. Nobody was hurt.
